I have a 40 gallon reservoir and a 1/3 hp sump pump, 1/2” pex line feeding bubbler (8 spouts) each feeding with a 1/4 hose and sprayers. Everything is in 5 gal pots with coco perlite. Ive tried several times to get clones to root in soil but for the 10 times i have tried none of them have rooted. I cut at a 45' angle then stick in water, cut about an inch up, dip in cloning solution then into soil. I heard rock-wool cubes work well so I bought some 2x2x2 cubes to use for cloning. Is it possible to plant the rock-wool cubes into soil once the clones root? I dont want the rock-wool to stay too moist while under the soil and cause root-rot. Should i cut the cubes in half so... Hi folks, What would it take to yield 1oz+ per plant in a zero-veg clone-fed SoG? 4 plants per sq ft. Clones get a decent set of roots and go directly into the flowering room under 12/12. So far yields have been kinda dissappointing, but the plants look very healthy so I don't think I'm messing up the growing... I am looking into different genetics, get a higher yielding strains. have a question, I have a 5 gallon dwc system, my plants are 8 weeks old, how much water do I keep in the buckets , I've been putting 2 gallons in with nutes, then every other day I top them off at the 2 gallon level with distilled water, should I have more water than just 2 gallons?? Hello, I have a couple week old seedlings that were started in an aerogarden and once the roots hit the water were transplanted into my recirculating drip system where the aerogarden pod was placed in hydroton. I have a 4 cob ~280W light dimmed to about 2/3 power and raised 24 inch from plants. This is in a 2x4 tent with a 4 inch carbon filter exhaust. I have terrible tap water which is usually 7.8 pH and starts at around 350ppm. I'm using this 2 part nutrient system for a first time coco grow. Wondering if anyone else has any experience with it. I find it unique and a slight bit concerning that it's the only A/B that I've come across that uses a 1:1 A:B mixture throughout both veg and fruiting cycles; of course altering in mix strength. Thinking about adding a drain into my soon to be rdwc system. I've been able to feed the system with X ppm, damn stable for few days, injecting the exact same ppm of nutrient each day and today, ppm is rising quite rapidly if I don't stop the injection, is it time to do a water change or you follow the "7 days" period? I feel like I need to drop the res change frequency to every 10 days and see if this phenonemon shows again, however, I don't want the extra work of more res changes. I have been vegging these 6 moms in a container for a while trying to tweak them and get it perfect. I have a mini version of the setup that is in a non air conditioned tent and the room would get up to 86f and water around 84f. I been using bennies in the veg and flower on those plants and they are crushing it! So where these are being vegged they are in ac and I had it running 75f and they looked the same as they do now. Quick easy question for seasoned growers: PPM. What should your ppms look like during bloom through to harvest. Of course there are many factors with strain and other variables. I'm just looking to hear if there are any rule of thumbs for this. I just changed my water and my ppm is 730. Before my change I was at 1300. They were happy as hell. So I had 80 clones in rockwool two weeks ago. They all were really wet and wouldnt dry out fast enough so someone on here suggested removing most of the rockwool. So I did that and two days later I hat brown slime algae. I added H2O2 with no success and then beneficial tea with more success. The slime is gone but my roots just dont want to grow. They are dying pretty fast, about half is already gone. I dont know wtf to do. My res temp is 71F 90L With three air stones (about 12W power)... Been looking at buying all of the stand-alone nutrients for grows in bulk. But I'm curious - I know you can't just mix them all together at once, at least in concentrated form, because some will coalesce (if that is the right word) with others in the water and fall of solution or morph into something else that does not work for the plants. What are the problems nutrient or nutrients that you have to worry about this? What stops you from being able to just mix them all together in dry or... Anyone have to hit Rez with H2O2 to kill bacteria from initial fill up? If I add bennies water turns cloudy and algae starts to build slowly. If I hit Rez with the H2O2 first everything good and I can add bennies 24hr later, but have to do this every time because I don’t use R/O I guess and water lines must be old lol. 88 cents a quart for hydrogen peroxide, can’t go wrong. Hello fellas. I have made a bubble cloner time ago. The problem its that its very hot in my country. I have the cloner in a room at around 31ºC (88F) and around 29ºC (84F) water temp. I have a 2W air pump, change the water each 7 days and I have a lid for the cuts. Without lid, even when 15 days passed, the cuts down her neck. The problem its that even the cuts with roots rot. I have lose around 3/4 of the cuts. Any advice? I do struggle with this. I can see it makes sense but it goes against everything else I have read ie: Static water level, Nute ec going up means you are feeding to high as the plants can't take any more nutrients so don't drink, reduce ec and plants will drink more then work your way up from there. This is what was posted is it correct?? Most people assume that with a rising EC, it is the plants way of saying, I don't want more food, here, have some back. What is actually happening... Been growing indicas and hybrids successfully for about 3 years in both soil and hydro/scrog but this time wanted to try a 100% Sativas, so I'd appreciate any experiential support you can offer.
