Should Ph remain mostly constant?

I know that each nutrient has a pH range at which it is best absorbed and hydro is supposed to be 5.5-6.5 pH, so should I be pH'ing my DWC down to 5.5 and let it ride up to 6.3 or so before dosing down? First DWC. Seedling is/was looking healthy but one cotyledon folded

Hello, I'm growing two Lemon g seeds in Rockwool in expanded clay pebbles. Ph is 5.8, EC is .2, temp is 65, under a mars hydro tsw2000 23 inches from plant. This seedling was fully opened yesterday and overnight it folded back into itself and feels hard/dried out. Otherwise the plant looks healthy. The other seedling was half a day behind but is still fully open. Hempy Pot Size vs Yield Question

So I have been studying Xare's 2L Hempy grow and I really think it would work well for my setup, but I am concerned with pulling less than 1 oz. per plant. I am wondering, If I switched from 2L to 3 Gallon Would that increase the plant size in the same amount of veg/flower time? It looks like to me (my very novice opinion) that Xare's plants are rootbound (although he definitely has this down to a science). Or would I be able to accomplish a hempy grow in air-pot bags filled with... GH Aeroflo 6' Spraylines

I've acquired most of 2 Aeroflo 20's and an Aeroflo 36. I replaced a failed pump in the 36 with a Danner Mag 950, which works great, with just a 3/4 to 1/2 adapter between pump outlet and hose. A Danner Mag 500GPH works well as a direct replacement in the Aeroflo 20s, no adapter necessary. Maybe this will help someone in the future like me salvaging these old grow systems. However one of the Aeroflos I confirmed was complete and working before driving 6 hours across 3 states to pickup, to... What do I do now?

First grow. I've read a lot, don't know what I'm doing of course. But guidance basically says just let it grow, don't prune or anything first time around, learn the plant. 100 day auto. Humboldt seed co all gas og. Germinated Dec 16th. That would make this day 57 if that's how it's counted? 27 gallon tote, chiller maintains water@69F, 2 8inch airstones w/1110 GPH Airpump, hydrofarm 24watt 400gph water pump, water level about 10GAL, 6 inch netpot, Hydroton, Calimagic, SAg GFF (1ml/10GAL)... I use flood & Ebb tables. I had salt or whatever buildup before, so I "flush" by adding plain h2o and set to flood every hour for a day or two. (I should probably change the water after that buy I'm getting lazy AKA It's good enough") I found out after growing a bit, if you add silica to your plants, do it BEFORE anything else is added. I added silica and then realized I should flush-so I did with the silica in it anyway for 1-2 days, then add my Jacks. I flushed at 5 weeks and 10... Controller bucket ebb and flow explanation

Can someone explain to me what purpose does a controller bucket have in an ebb and flow bucket system? Why can't we just pump water from reservoir to plants? It seems like it's for gravity to fill the bucket evenly? What does the device on the bucket does different than a normal timer? I'm interested in doing this system but I can't find any controller buckets where I live and it's also difficult to find parts needed for DIY. [ATTACH... ebb flood and drain Basics, am I missing something?

Hey guys, I'm a newb on flood and drain systems, can you tell me if I'm skipping something with this method? 1. Get a flood and drain table and a reservoir under it. The reservoir should be 3-4x the capacity size of the table and has to be covered. 2. Make 2 holes in the table, 1 hole for a flood valve attached to a pump and 1 hole for a drain valve. Also have an air pump to circulate the water in the reservoir. 3. I want to switch from coco hand watering to ebb flood and drain and I live in Thailand where it's hard to find what I need so can you guys tell me if it's correct? I would buy this table and i would have to make 2 holes in it, 1 hole for a flood valve and 1 hole for a drain valve. Silicone in bucket...?

Hiya I have a nice big disk airstone, but its leaking a lot of air from the baseplate, ie not all the air is getting pushed through the stone. I thought i could seal it with silicone but im not sure about this, i dont know if the silicone might cause issues? What do you think? Waterfall system revamp

So, revamping my whole thing. Small grow for 1 person, not me but the better half due to me still being randomed. Anyways, had a 4 site waterfall thing going and the plan never came to fruition. Would only get 2-3 plants plants to grow, pain in the ass to get to the back of the tent to tend to them. Had mild to good success, and have more than enough to last a good while without a constant crop. Looking to reduce to 1 or 2 totes with a waterfall. First thought was 2 sites, but now i think...
