Rdwc drain?

Thinking about adding a drain into my soon to be rdwc system. Basically a bulk head fitting coming off the bottom of the buckets all daisy chained with a valve at the end...
1- would the roots just grow right into this and render it useless...?
2- given that this nutrient solution up to the valve would be stagnant, would it cause issues with unwanted growths ( algae, mold, whatever )?
3- maybe I’m just thinking to far into this and it’s really not necessary
