Drip hydro nutrient vs Athena vs Jack

Hi folks. Im thinking on switching to athena or drip hydro from Jack. Any input on drip hydro ? i like athena cuz of the N control. Real Growers Recharge in recirculating hydroponics w/ Jacks RO formula 12-4-16

I'm getting the impression there is some danger to adding Recharge like this (you know organic hydro and stuff).. whats the worst that could happen? i flow 1 min out of every 5-30 min depending on my mood. the pump is 230gal/hr but probably half that at my head height. reservoir is 10 gal. 4 x 1/2" lines with valves deliver nutrient to 2 dispersing trays. I have my roots contained inside a grow bag (don't think the roots will make it through that). inside the bag is 3 inches of hydroton... Is this really all i need to auto feed?

Well because of my preferred light schedule and my inability to stay up late... I'm in need of a self watering system. Usually only run 4 plants at a time. In coco coir Besides a res (20g tote) is this all I would need to auto water my coco? It seems to simple. Also. Are these a good options or can it be done cheaper? Pool shock/ nutrient adding order

So I just switched to using hth pool shock (52% hypochlorite) from UC roots two days ago. Mixed up a fresh batch of nutrient solution which I added in order of: 1- silicablast 2- cal-mag 3- 1 gram of hypochlorite 4- V1 ( Floraflex ) 5- V2 ( Floraflex). Should also mention that I’m using RO water. 2 days later; I walk down this morning to check everything out and the plants look stalled and droopy. Open up the res and there’s a fairly strong odor of something not good. Check the roots and... Using an external water pump with a Venturi?

I am looking to build my first set up. I have a 13 gallon tote and I came across many people using a Venturi. While many forums say that using a Venturi allows you to reach higher temperatures, I’d rather take preventative measures to keep the water cool that does not require me throwing ice in there. Few question, mainly about ebb & flow with rockwool

Hi guyz, i just started hydro in a ebb & flow system with rockwool in 6L pot., and have a few question about it....i try to keep everything simple, my feed is base(AB) + silicate + very little epsom in end of veg + stretch, i never change rez untill i have to, that why i avoid every additives as they make my solution go bad....i learned this when growing in coco dtw, but here in a recirculate system it's even worse. Actually i flow 2 times a day and 1time at night, but as soon as flower... Is this under feeding?

Only affecting one of 3 plants, which is a higher thc strain, the other two are CBD strains and dont have this issue. All 3 plants are in the same DWC though so they are sharing the nutes. I've kept EC low through veg, average about 0.8 but I've done a rez change to bloom a/b fert now and slowy raising ec above 1.0 so I'm guessing it's deficciency rather than overdose? PH has been pretty much in range the whole time, ups and downs. They have been on 12/12 for about 5 days now. Current... How soon should I see run-off during mid-bloom in rockwool hugo?

Hey everyone, I am currently in day 35 of flower (bulking stage) in 6x6 rockwool hugo blocks using a top feed DTW floraflex (open bubbler) setup. I am not using any substrate meters, but I plan to in the near future. I'm feeding 100ml shots every 45 mins,1 hour after lights on all the way until 1 hour before lights off - total of 14 shots. Currently achieving runoff around the 9th feeding or late afternoon about 6 hours after the lights come on. Any idea as to how soon I should get... Drip Irrigation in 6" Hugo Blocks feed strength??

Hi everyone. This is my first time trying this grow method, previously, I had been growing RDWC. Right now I have 4 plants hooked to the system. 2 of them are progressing faster than the others. What is a typical feed strength for these blocks during the early-mid strength of veg? The blocks themself recommend a 1.5EC (750ppm) and I am hoping someone can confirm. Help with nutrient deficiency (pics and time-lapse inculded)

I'm 1.5 weeks into veg and around day 3, I first noticed that the stems turned from green to purple. I also noticed some yellowing / brown spots on the lower leaves. The guy at the Hydroponics store said they look magnesium deficient, so during my nute change, I increased Cal-Mag from 3ml per gallon to 5 ml per gallon. Current setup: Aeroponics / NFT system using Aeroflo2 by GH. Nutrients: House and Garden line using 80% strength, I noticed that in the past, going 100% full strength burned...
