DWC Net Pot Size

RDWC 20l square black buckets UK

I already posted this in the general but think this area is more appropriate. Hi everyone, A quick question to all.. is there a demand for square 20L Black buckets in the UK.. I have trawled the net everywhere and can’t seem to find anyone selling them here, I’ve searched eBay, amazon and the net.. nothing!!! I have my own custom built recirculating DWC system but the pipes constantly get clogged with roots, I want to upgrade to 3inch pipe but I know it will leak using round buckets.. So... Reliable ppm chart for marijuana??

I've been looking and looking but have not seen a reliable ppm chart for growing marijuana? I have heard people say use full strength, use half, use a quarter..I just want to know what you guys keep your ppm's at and when. If there is a nice chart somewhere out there that would be great too. Thanks!

RDWC Bucket Size?

I've grown in FF soil and also in coco. I'm thinking about moving to a RDWC setup... I already ordered a 1/4 water chilling, and 2" uniseals. Now I'm just trying to get the rest of my supplies. To get to my question, I'm debating on whether to go with eight 8 gallon square buckets vs eight standard 5 gallon round buckets in a 4x8 tent. Any pros, cons, difference in using one over the other other than cost?

aeroflo 36 injection manifold?

I'm in the process of building my own aeroflo36. I have all the parts I need except the pump and the injection manifold. So heres my question. When I look at the actual injection manifold GH actually uses it really looks nothing like what most DIY's are doing. the GH manifold looks like it has some black tubing and pvc pipe interchanged. theres no way im paying like $65 for something I know I can make myself. DIY pH up with calcitic lime?

Im sure this has been discussed before but has anyone done this before? Just dissolve some of the lime into a jug and use it as pH up? I figure it will raise the pH as well as supply calcium; if I use dolomite lime then I also will get the added benefit of the Mg. I figure that the carbonate buffer also has a good buffering capacity as well. Just wondering if anyone has given it a shot yet. Ever notice... (bag seeds) soil to Hydro

Sometimes a seed germinated then planted in soil, sprouts, starts to struggle with vertical growth and node separation. Then You place that same plant in a hydro setup and it takes off... Leaves begin to expand. Growth becomes much more apparent. I usually have no problem starting any plant in soil but I run into difficult bag seed phenos here and there. I love the challenge of making that hard to grow plant vivacious. It usually ends up being super dank in the end too because I put so... Ever notice... Harvest a Pound Every Three Weeks!

Outdoor growers are heading inside now so I thought if might be a good time to start a thread on how you can harvest a pound every three weeks from a 7x8' closet. I'll take you through my process from start to harvest. What is different about my system vs. others? 1) 3 separate Aero/NFT flower systems allow me to run a 9 week flower cycle. This allows the buds to fully ripen and also allows me to run strains with more Sativa in them. 2) I... Harvest a Pound Every Three Weeks! May 22, 2019 at 09:48PM Read more about this fix

Over watering in flood and drain tables?

So in my first hydro run i suffered some leaf tip curl, but i chalked it up to over feeding, especially N. I also had some other probs... Anyway, this 2nd run is off to a way better start, but ive got the leaf curl again. i know its not over feeding or too much N this time. My ppms have only been 300 this 1st week, with way less N. In fact, i know i have to bump it up because the new leaves are much too light green. So the leaf tip curl must be from over watering??? I flood every 4 hours... Nutrients question on GH Maxi series

I'm currently running GH MaxiGro/Maxibloom with CaliMagic. I would like to not depend on Calimagic since it's in liquid form and I rather use dry ingredients. Would switch from the nutes above to only using MaxiBloom + calcium nitrate and epsom salt be a possible replacement from beginning to end in the plant life cycle? MaxiGro ratios are 10-5-14. Maxibloom is 5-15-14. I believe my primary concern is over abundance of phosphorus if I use Maxibloom from beginning to end, causing nutes burn? May 20, 2019 at 01:31PM Read more about this fix

On another forum there is a discussion going on for how long you can work with the same res/nutes. Some say just a few days. Others claim they run it for a month.
