Started a grow in a new 8x10' room. Using 3" rockwool in clay pellets. Took a week to get the venting, temp and RH at proper levels. Got up to 104 degrees a few times during adjustments. They were getting watered 4 times per day but with no nutrients for 1 week. They looked weak and droopy. Week two the Temp/Rh is under control now- 76 degrees 52 rh on average and water was backed off to twice per day but has nutrients added. Using digital Ph device. They still look weak and droopy... So I wanted to see what people have to say about this discussion. I'm running a 25 gallon reservoir, it's a flood and drain setup on a 2x4 tray filled completely with hydroton. It has two plants. Throughout the grow I have seen ppm and ec slowly rising. Plants have been healthy thoughoit cycle however is this due to overfeeding? Obviously they drink water too and there is some evaporation. Anybody wanna share their ebb flow watering schedules/EC? I was reading Jorge Cervantes' book and it was talking about more watering cycles with less time was better, and to cut down ECs to .6 - .8 in flower (I think). So I'm week 2 Flower, at 1.8 EC, 10 minutes pump on time at lights on. (ran thru late veg at 1.5) Spiked to 2.2 burned em. Made me seriously consider margins of error. Running CO2 at 1500, just so I can cheat on cooling costs. VPD/ Humidity/TEMP is an entirely different... So I’ve run into a bit of a hiccup in my DWC Super Skunk grow. I’m around 55 days or so into the grow. I flipped the plant 17 days ago and there is still no pre flowers showing. I’ve never had a plant take longer than a week to show and it’s odd for the strain. Super Skunk is indica dominant and supposedly reaches maturity quickly. So i bought a 16 pot micro dripper setup with the pot pro draining system for my 8x8. Now its going to be setup as 2 4x8s 8 plants with each plant getting 4 drippers. Im not sure on what pump to use to feed them. My local grow shop tried to sell me a 1k pump and after i told them im not spending that on a pump they really didnt help me anymore so i walked out. Hello. I'm growing for the first time. I followed a "Top-Fed DWC Cannabis Setup Guide – Bubbleponics" guide. It will be in the spare bedroom in the house that's facing west (so getting afternoon sun). So given the amount of time it takes to get 50 gallons out of my hydrologic I’m questioning multiple things… 1- At just over 100ppm for my tap water, will I have issues just using that assuming that I will let it sit for 24 hours to eliminate some of the chlorines? 2- if I decide to run the ro consistently and it’s sits for a few days before being used will I have to keep the water moving in the drum (assuming yes)? 3- say I do use the RO. Hey all, I use the 3 GH nutes. I started off with 1/4 nutes, then half, now I'm at full strength. Its going well, she's growing fast & bushy. On the bottle they have the Aggressive veg. Which, for my 5 gal setup would be 60 ml of Flora Gro, 20 ml of Bloom, 40 ml micro. What I use is 25 ml of each. This is my 2nd grow, so there's a shit ton that I need to learn about hydro. I bought an 80litre bag from eBay and I'm guessing there cheap nasty crap bcoz they everytime I run my nutrient solution thru them within an hour or less the ph raises to 6.5+ and I was sick of adding ph down all the time I did soak them in ph'd water (5.5) but later that night when I checked the ph it was 7.3?
