About 250gal How big of a rez would you use if you scaled up to 100 sites on just 1 rez ? And what would you use to chill all that water? Been Awhile for me on here.... For those new to Hydro, get and idea of how fast things grow when you use this method of growing. Unfortunately, i do not have pics of the start, wish I did. But honestly really easy to picture in your head. I’m building an RDWC system and I’m pretty stumped on the inline pump. I’ve looked at a few on amazon and all of them have bad reviews which worry me. Don’t want one that will die on me cuz that seems like it could be a real problem. So my questions are: Do you guy have any pump brands that you recommend that have worked well for you in-line? I've been pretty happy with Southern Ag's Biological Friendly Fungicide and thought I'd try their calcium nitrate when my last batch of power grow I got from Amazon ran out. Hey guys, i am brand new to the forum in search of a little guidance. This is my second grow I’ve ever done, but my first hydro grow. So i germinated and sprouted my blue crack seed in 1” rockwool cubes, in a heated germination tray. I have a MarsHydro ts1000 that I’m using in a 3’x3’ grow tent. Hello friends, I fight with root rot for some time now, my water temp is too high and I can't use a water chiller. I run a NFT System which used to work great but since I somehow got root rot from sick clones every grow failes. I transplanted half of the crop to soil and they are doing great. My water temp is very high at 25C. Is that to high? I tried hydroguard and trichoderma, Physan20 and H2O2. I still get it. Are my water temps just too high so all the Fungizides etc. dont work? I’ve put together a cost effective way to continuously monitor my ppms, ph and temp. Everything together cost about the same as a decent meter alone. Everything is available on amazon for about $140. My setup has been running well and I've been running bennies but I do have to fight off root rot on occasion cause of my buckets dont empty completely. Hello grows I bought a ph controller with peristaltic pump (bluelab), that's fine you will tell me BUT, the problem is that the timer only leaves me as a choice: between 1 to 60 seconds of on for 1 to 60 minutes of off which is too short as a delay, even at the minimum, so namely 1s on 60mn off ... I have a DWC 4 bucket system with 5 gallon buckets and a 10 gallon reservoir. It has 2 -2 feet hoses and 2 -4 foot hoses running from the reservoir to the buckets very close to the bottom of the reservoir and buckets. Not sure the diameter of the hoses but they are decent size. It also has hoses running from my reservoir pump to the tops of the buckets . They are much smaller in diameter then the bottom ones . I am soon at the end of my second growth ever. After my first growth using a 600hps I had so much trouble with heat that I swapped over to two 260w led QB's. Does anyone have insight into cleaning a floaraflex system? I have the bubblers hooked up to 3/4 pvc. I clean the reservoir and pump every cycle and I change the feed lines every other cycle. Cannot seem to find any posts on this issue , the ones I do find do not seem to have a solution. I am running a waterfarm which has a 4 gallon res with an air stone along with a air lift top fed spraying system. Hello everyone! i got some seedlings sprouted so i have a question. I water them with little water each time (since they dont want much water) and weak nutrient solution. So my questions are: -are salts building up? -will i have to flush the coco when my babies grow more (like 2nd or 3rd week)? -or should i water my baby seedlings with runoff so any salts will be washed away? Hydro noob here, building a 4 site RDWC: 4x 5 gallon buckets, with a 5 gallon res, so probably 15-20 gallons when full (going into a 4x4 tent/res outside tent). I live in a hot climate so I’m thinking instead of hot noisy air pumps, I’ll go waterfall, with an inline pump pulling water from the res and connecting to a spout-like attachment at the top of the side of each of the bucket sites. So my questions are, what size (GPH) inline water pump will I need to circulate enough water for the... I'm curious why they don't use a Venturi air injectors, but air diffusers only? I've installed 2 venturi 1/4" injectors (on a picture i think it's 1/2") with 1000gph water pump and using 2 stones , it works as it should , but do i really need it? This is my first DWC grow. I’m into week 4 of veg and my Plants(wedding cake) are eating 110ppm per night and I’m getting ph swings of 4 to 5 points. I have sudden changes in ph and ec from one day to the next in my hydroponic system. also evaporate at least 10 liters per day, so I have to add that 10 liters every day, which makes the ec even lower. When adding water to the hydroton every day, should I use regular water or nute water? I think it's just plain water but need confirmation. Also, when do you stop top-feeding? I'm having trouble finding my 18LB container of Maxi Grow. I found it online for $25 more than it usually is. All local stores are sold out. I have heard good things about Masterblend and am considering switching. I've read and heard others say just enough for the roots to touch. I'm using 5 gallon buckets with about 3 gallons of water. I change the water weekly and when I do I notice my plants damn near drink it all leaving hardly in the buckets. I'm on week two of flowering and used this amount the whole time. I'm just worried about getting root rot. As of now my roots are massive and white and doing fine.
