For as back as I can remember I've rarely needed ph up, I'm on a 2nd bottle of pH down and still have 3/4 of my 1st bottle of pH up. Well it's finally time to switch to hydro. My last soil run yielded 6.4 lbs off 4000 watts hps and co2. I'm happy enough with those results but sick to death of hand watering. Ok guys I've had issues in the past repeatedly with my aerocloners. I realized it's because I didn't keep my reservoir Sterile 24/7. I'd always initially dose my cloner but didn't realize daily dosing is what's needed to maintain 5ppm of free chlorine. I have the chlorine strips and noticed .2ml of bleach/ gal of water is required to maintain 5ppm of free chlorine. Anyone got any sort of system for LST on 5 gallon bucket 6" basket lids? Ive thought of drilling holes on the thin lip and getting some wire loops through them all around the lid to tie off too, but am scared of light leaks into the res, its a very thin lip. I don't grow organically, so I like the idea of adding fungi to improve root mass. I already use root enhancer throughout veg, until ~early/mid-bloom. Currently, I'm using GH's full flora series line. But I use Mills' root enhancer, because a store's had it on sale. Have a RDWC/waterfall system, 4 site with 17 gallon totes, 2" pvc return to a 20 gal res. Water levels were falling everyday and I thought it was just due to flower cycle. I’ve been seeing a lot of people say that it’s not necessary to rinse coir out these days because that’s kinda left over from back when coir was much lower quality. The other day I transplanted and after buffering I put the coir in a fabric pot and ran water through it for a minute.
