LST DWC 5 gallon buckets?

Anyone got any sort of system for LST on 5 gallon bucket 6" basket lids? Ive thought of drilling holes on the thin lip and getting some wire loops through them all around the lid to tie off too, but am scared of light leaks into the res, its a very thin lip. I lift the basket lid off every week for a nute change so its hard to build a frame or tie off to something thats not on the lid. And i dont trust tape as much as i do for holding air lines

I am modifying my Power Grower RDWC systems to have a 13 Gallon Reservoir. And in general my tendency has been to make my PPM stronger then what they actually consume nutrient wise! Is AISI-302 stainless steel good for the reservoir with nutrients?

I am wondering if AISI-302 stainless steel parts are suited for permantent contact with the nutrients? It is because I am thinking about using a non return valve which in the reservoir which has AISI-302 grade parts. I don't know how aggressive the nutrients are to metals and if this kind of stainless steel might bleed toxic stuff into the reservoir.... Any idea? April 22, 2019 at 04:01PM Read more about this fix

How to correct Rising pH/PPM runoff

Okay so this is my first run with Hydroponics. I have been running a top feed drip line system. I am running my girls in 6 inch rockwool cubes placed in 7 x 7 pots filled with hydroton. There almost 28 days into veg from seed. I've begun to notice a couple rust spots on my girls nothing too major. I figured starting a little nute burn. So I backed off the nutes a little.
