Hello all, went into abit of shock this morning I woke up made a coffee and checked my girls.. everything looked fine as it usually would, but within minutes smoke was coming from absolutely everywhere and lots of it. Nearing time to clean out my grow room and for the first time need to address a whitefly issue. I went to wallyworld and got som ph stips for the fishy’s they only go as low as 6.2 I hope all goes well as I think I mixed up a batch of nutes for my babies but I used a ton of ph up and saw a lot of clouding to register the stops at ph 7 the I added a bunch more to get it back to ph6.2. I have questions about this. won't the chlorine from this be gone in 48 hours. I think its about 2.5 grams for my 75 gallon res. What else should I know? I got root rot and plan going this route if its not cleared in a few days. I just upped the dosage of Hydrogaurd and used Phyton 27 to hopefully clear it up. So I have 4 plants in flower right now.. 4 c99 from joeyweed, they are clones from a mom I had in organic super soil. I placed the clones in hempy buckets and have given them ro water and flora trio from general hydroponics. They seem to be doing well, very well, but I’d like to know if I can up the ppms. My plants are at the stage now where I'm adding a gallon of water every other day to the 5 gallon dwc buckets. I'm not sure if I should be adding hydroguard every time I top off? Hi Guys..... I'm Running NFT table with 3" rockwool cubes. PPM 400 using canna A & B veg nuts. Water temp 18 - 20c and ph hovers around 6.0. So Ive been growing in hydroton for a while now using a live res and an organic line up and I am wondering if I can decrease my electricity cost and potentially increase the quality I've been producing... Okay, so I'm running a DIY ebb n flow system which uses a 40 gallon rubbermaid trash can as a reservoir. I've got a 250 gph pump with 1/2 i.d. tubing going to my controller bucket. The system works as intended, but when the timer shuts off my "fill" pump, the water still keeps running, effectively turning my system into a recirculating system. This is not what I want obviously. Hi I had these plans jungle boys. The had issue with light between 4-5th week uneven light 14-12 hours of light for 10 days. I know it's fail. I'm at top of 6th week fixed light 3 -4 days ago. this is my 2nd indoor grow. First was soil. I have 1782 ppm I'm using bonicare nutes. Hey all. I just started a GDP grow in a 5gal DWC bubble bucket. I want to ScrOG but there's the logistical problem of doing a res change with a ScrOG net in place. I know there are pumps that can pull water out and can be reversed for adding water, but I don't want to damage the root system. There's a tube on the side of my buckets for the air pump and I know I could use this to drain if I set my bucket up on a stand of some sort... Any helpful advice or recommendations? My last grow I used 6x6x6 inch rockwool cubes for a heavy sativa grow, and was getting so much root growth from the bottom. Is this normal, or bad? I'm putting together a high pressure aeroponics system and having a difficult time finding info on accumulator tank pressure. My question is what PSI should I pressure my bladder tank to if I plan to maintain aprx 80 psi to my misters? I have has a 1/4 hp aqua active water chiller for about a year and recently I've noticed a significant change in water temps. No mater what I do the Temps won't go below 70 and recently have gone up. From 70 to 76. I have a 5 site rdwc with about 66 gallons total recirculating. I was think my chiller feed pump was too strong.. I belive its a 800gph. And my room ambient temp is around 83. High all, what is the most accurate way to ph coco? I am having a constant battle with ph ever since I mix my coco/perlite with dolomite lime at the rate of 1 tblsp/gal. Everybody said not to worry about run off ph, but when you flush your 2 gal media with almost 20 gal of RO water ph 5.8 with run off reading still @7.4 you know you have a problem... Hey all. I’m needing some help here. I’m growing in a 5 gallon bucket with two air stones in the bottom. I’m having a issue with my ph wanting to crash after about 4-5 days after a res change. The first few days the ph will slowly rise while the EC drops and then around day 4 or so the ph will all of a sudden crash a solid full point down into the 4’s and then the EC will start rising soon after so I find myself needing to do res changes every 4-5 days. Hiya Looks like i have root aphids - theres little bugs flying out when i open my rez. So i think i need to drown them in a h2o2 solution but what % should i mix this at? I’m about to start my first RDWC waterfall grow. Hydro noob here, so I figure I’m bound to run into some problems which will require some complete res changes (system holds about 30 gallons). So my questions are: How the hell do I drain my system in case of root rot? Also, i use a separate tote to mix my nutes in before adding them to the res, how do I transfer water from my mixing tote into my actual reservoir? Hello looking for opinions of pros and cons of these styles. Plan is 5x5 or 4x8 5 plants in flower. Separate veg room. I have experience with both DWC and flood and drain. No experience with coco or soil. My first grow was DWC over 10 years ago. My initial thought was go Coco and drip set up. But then after reading through the forums I'm not so sure. Okay so I'm set to start my first grow since I believe 2012 LOL. The only difference with this one is I have decided to go with a EBB and Flow drip line system. Now I have all the pumps, timers, 9 x 9 pots irrigation lines already set up , flood tables, nutrients PPM and PH meters. So of course I’m a new guy just looking to learn. I’m running a 3x2.5x6ft tent, 1000w bloomspect LED, right now I have them in a 2:1 ratio of coco to perlite. (2/3 coco-1/3 perlite).
