Ph Crashing Overnight

Hey all. I’m needing some help here. I’m growing in a 5 gallon bucket with two air stones in the bottom. I’m having a issue with my ph wanting to crash after about 4-5 days after a res change. The first few days the ph will slowly rise while the EC drops and then around day 4 or so the ph will all of a sudden crash a solid full point down into the 4’s and then the EC will start rising soon after so I find myself needing to do res changes every 4-5 days. I am wondering if AISI-302 stainless steel parts are suited for permantent contact with the nutrients? It is because I am thinking about using a non return valve which in the reservoir which has AISI-302 grade parts. I am modifying my Power Grower RDWC systems to have a 13 Gallon Reservoir. And in general my tendency has been to make my PPM stronger then what they actually consume nutrient wise! I have done this because they don't seem to burn and because they can consume the whole entirely of the reservoir in one day at their peak flowering cycle. In Veg my plants can drink as high as 1400 PPM which seems crazy. But as soon as I flip the light cycle this drops to about 600-700. .5 conversion And I... How to correct Rising pH/PPM runoff

Okay so this is my first run with Hydroponics. I have been running a top feed drip line system. I am running my girls in 6 inch rockwool cubes placed in 7 x 7 pots filled with hydroton.
