Today I transplanted two sets of identical seedlings into soil and hydro to directly test the differences between the two mediums. This consists of one Auto Purple Kush in hydro and one in soil as well as one Green Crack Auto in hydro and one in soil. I've previously grown soil but never hydro. My hydro set up is a 3 bucket (2 plants, 1 res) RDWC system with a top feed addition. I will be using the GH flora trio, cal/mag, and hydroguard in the water. I am wondering if AISI-302 stainless steel parts are suited for permantent contact with the nutrients? It is because I am thinking about using a non return valve which in the reservoir which has AISI-302 grade parts. I am modifying my Power Grower RDWC systems to have a 13 Gallon Reservoir. And in general my tendency has been to make my PPM stronger then what they actually consume nutrient wise! I have done this because they don't seem to burn and because they can consume the whole entirely of the reservoir in one day at their peak flowering cycle. In Veg my plants can drink as high as 1400 PPM which seems crazy. But as soon as I flip the light cycle this drops to about 600-700. .5 conversion And I... How to correct Rising pH/PPM runoff

Okay so this is my first run with Hydroponics. I have been running a top feed drip line system. I am running my girls in 6 inch rockwool cubes placed in 7 x 7 pots filled with hydroton.
