📉 What Is Variance in Roulette? (2026 Simple Guide)

👉 Variance = how much your results go up and down in the short term. Even in a random game like roulette: Results don’t stay smooth They swing up and down 🎲 Why Variance Happens Roulette is random. That means: Wins can cluster together Losses can cluster together Streaks appear 👉 This creates “swings” in your bankroll. 📊 Low Variance vs High Variance 🟢 Low Variance (Safer Play) Smaller wins More frequent hits Slower bankroll changes Examples: Red / Black Odd / Even 🔴 High Variance (Risky Play) Bigger wins Less frequent hits Large bankroll swings Examples: Single number bets Small combinations 🧠 Why Variance Matters Understanding variance helps you: Avoid panic during losses Stay calm during winning streaks Choose bets that match your style 🔁 Example of Variance Two players with the same bankroll: Player A (Low Variance) Small steady bets Slow ups and downs 👉 Lasts longer Player B (High Variance...

DWC / pH 5.7 / EC 0.64 / Maxibloom and Liquid Silicon / Res temps = in good range / 20 days in reservoir

Here's how they look now after a daytime rally where I thought everything was going to be fine - they looked back to normal. As the day's gone on though, they've started to wilt again...

Could be:

- Lack of enough light

- Underfeeding (I'm using Maxibloom (only) and Liquid Silicon.)

- Root rot (although roots aren't slimy to the touch and I changed res...

Res Cooling: PC Liquid Cooling Radiator Hack

Greetings, I've been recently trying different methods to reduce my nutrient solution temps and I stumbled across a solution that is quite interesting. I used PC liquid cooling parts as a radiator through which I continually circulated my solution. Thanks to the second law of thermodynamics , radiators are an effective solution for transferring heat. Plus I figured a CPU was a hell of lot hotter than my reservoir, so it... Is AISI-302 stainless steel good for the reservoir with nutrients?

I am wondering if AISI-302 stainless steel parts are suited for permantent contact with the nutrients? It is because I am thinking about using a non return valve which in the reservoir which has AISI-302 grade parts. I don't know how aggressive the nutrients are to metals and if this kind of stainless steel might bleed toxic stuff into the reservoir.... Any idea? How concentrated to make Nutrient Solution in my 13 Gallon RDWC Reservoir for One big Plant?

I am modifying my Power Grower RDWC systems to have a 13 Gallon Reservoir. And in general my tendency has been to make my PPM stronger then what they actually consume nutrient wise! I have done this because they don't seem to burn and because they can consume the whole entirely of the reservoir in one day at their peak flowering cycle. In Veg my plants can drink as high as 1400 PPM which seems crazy. But as soon as I flip the light cycle this drops to about 600-700. .5 conversion And I...
