Just taking a poll... What ppms or ec do you like for veg and for flower? I know it depends on the strain... but would like to know your average range? Even though i went well under GH hydros recommendations it seems i over fed a bit so... prepping for the next run and want to see what peeps here are doing. Im needing a new pump for my HPA system. Ive been using espresso pumps and running my accumulator tank between 115 PSI and 140 PSI max. The problem is these solenoid pumps are noisy, and now it is failing after about 8 months of use. The problem Im having is the only Aquatec pump listed on their website that goes over 80 PSI is the 12 volt, 1 GPM 5853 series of pumps - but I cant find any for sale with all the other features I want. I am now reading that the bennies in Hydroguard are the boys and multiple strains just fight with each other like drunken Irishmen. Does anyone have a recipe for Hydroguard Tea to reduce costs?

Howdy, just wanna apologize ahead of time for my lack of knowledge on this subject... I am your average hillbilly grower, who actually has around 17 years of growing experience, but have always grown the old fashioned simple way "watering by hand". Basically, I'm getting older, my back can't handle all the toting of hundreds of gallons of water per week. My room is getting crowded and I need an easier way of watering and feeding. So I have been looking into the cheapest auto watering... Need help with automated top fed system asap!

I've been running a Stink Bud variation of two tubs and in the later stages of flower the pH seems to go down instead of up! Question does dope change it's chemical transfer in Flower? It seems like it changes it's waste products in later flowering.

Hello guys what's up - I had a brainwave today and I was wondering if you guys ever thought about supercooling your water as it's purer and may eliminate the need to have a chiller, less pH drift, root rot etc - I'm just asking as it may make your lives easier - also do you think I could do drain to waste hydro and then transplant into dirt( not soil) for some monsters ?

Hello again. You lads must be getting sick of my questions by now. I have decided to go with a live RDWC system and have made some Microbe tea with TNC BactorrS13 - Beneficial Bacteria. Have spoken to the manufacturers for advice and must admit they were very helpful. My question is how much and how often do I use the tea. I have read an initial dose of 1 part tea to 20 parts solution, but can't find anything on repeat dosing and how often. Thanks.... How often to dose with Microbe Tea, Hydroguard etc.

Can I put a rooted clone into a 3 gallon all perlite hempy bucket and grow it for 3-6 months without having any watering/root problems? How do I know when to water 100% Perlite hempy buckets because the top of the perlite is always dry? I tried 75/25 Perlite/Vermiculite and while that combo worked great for veg, later in flower I was drowning the roots I think.

Of course it is depending on how large your reservoir is. But for discussions sake let's say it is huge. For how long do you guys think you can run it? And also please share some experiences or how you do it.

how would I start seeds going into hydro?

Is there any point to adjust the pH when flushing water? If there's nothing to uptake then why bother? I'm asking because right now my water is sitting at 7.2 Cheers.

I have been feeding at what EC Current Culture (the RDWC system manufacturer) recommend in their feed charts regarding EC/PPM as Shogun don't give recirculating recommendations. The maximum EC, CC recommend is 1.4/700 ppm using RO water when in full bloom and even that was pushing it looking at my plants. Thinking of changing to GH nutrient line. Been looking at their recirculating feed chart and they recommend a max of 1400 ppm/2.8 ec... PPM/EC GH feed chat recommendations

Hello all I have been using both Hydroguard and Photosynthesis plus in RDWC. I have been using PP for some time in coco and love it. I'm now using HG and PP in RDWC, its all a bit haphazard at the moment. I initially add full strength HG when the system is filled wait a few days and add half strength PP. I then just add a 100ml or a splash of each weekly (or when I remember) for up keep as I add new nutrient solution. HG contains only Bacillus Amyloliquefaciens @ 1.00 x 10 4cfu's ml.... What’s up everybody? So I’m running 1800w hps over 5 plants in a capn style setup but 5 plants on one res not one plant per res. I had to go away for about 5 days and my brother took care of them for me but after about 2 or 3 days of me being gone the ppm runoff kept rising. I left him with a res mix at 850 and it stayed right around there the first few waterings. Then it started going up to 900 or 930 for couple waterings in a row. Had him mix a batch at 750ppm since they had been taking... Run off ppm rising week 3 flowering. Even when giving them a feed strength they were fine on in wk2

Here's my proposed DWC build, with no prior experience and little research. Originally was going to use a 15 gallon HDX tote, I grabbed a 25 gallon instead so that's what I'm going with. 1 - 126GPH air pump with 2 ports 1 - 253GPH air pump with 4 ports, in case the smaller one doesn't cut it 50 ft black plastic tubing 1/4" 4x large cylindrical air stones 3x 6 inch wide rim net pots 10L Hydroton GH Flora 3 pack Spigot type deal for easier drainage, I still have no idea if this'll work... Simple DWC in 25 gallon tote

Hi guys. I alway like to play around with stuff. Always got to tinker. I mostly grow in 3 gal Hempys. This next batch I was going to step up to stacked 5 gal hempys. Then I got to thinking. If I put a 3gal bucket with 100% Perlite in the top of my 5 gal bucket. With holes drilled in the 3gal. (Maybe a layer of hydroton so the Perlite dose not get flushed down into the rez). This would create a 2gal water rezivor under the 3gal. Put a drain on the 5gal bucket at the desired water... Hempy x DWC what do you think?
