However, after doing some searching I found a few sites that advocate that it's okay for the roots to grow together. Hydroponics / Aeroponics PH questions Thu, 31 Jan 2019 06:17:57 +0000 Just wondering... after dropping 160 litres of nute mix by almost a full 2 points with just 10 ml of GH pH down... wtf!!?? ...is the potency different between different pH down/up manufacturers? ... does ppm or EC strength of nute solution have an effect on pH adjustments? IE does a higher concetration of say 10 gal nute mix need more pH down than a lighter concentration 10 gal nute mix to make the same adjustment? ... does temp or constant temp fluctuations have an effect on pH? Hydroponics / Aeroponics How to do SoG in pots with hydro Lots of ideas in this forum. I would like to somehow be able to move plants from veg to flower and also harvest every 3 weeks. Don’t need big scale. Veg room is 5x5 flower is 6x6. Recirculated nutes in a table was what I was thinking. DTW or flood and drain are options but would like to stick to recirculating. Hydroponics / Aeroponics Res aeration... how much? So... 200 litre (45 gal) low profile res.... how much aeration is required? I have a 4 outlet aquarium air pump and i plugged 2 lines and ran air stones on the other 2 in the res. The amount of bubbling seems insufficient. I thought of unplugging the other 2 lines and adding stones, but i guessing that the pump just doesnt put out enough pressure to make much difference. But maybe im wrong? I just dont know how much aeration is required????? What are other folks doing for same size res? more info...

Do they even make these? And if not, WHY? seems like such a cheap simple, easy idea. Kinda like those cheap coolers you can get for 1.99 at any gas station. Hydroponics / Aeroponics ph won't stay down are there ph down products that work better than others? im currently using GH ph down but anytime I drop the ph of my drain to waste reservoir it will slowly clime back up. I'm currently using RO but I'd like to get off of it and goto just filtered tap water. its about 7.8 starting PH so it needs alot of adjustment. is there possibly a nutrient lineup that drops the ph enough that would remain stable because ph down only seems to work for a day or so. more info...

Hey gang, just like it says .. the lights came on today and: ppm = 980 temp =67 ph = 5.5 two hours later i peaked in and am scratching my head ppm = 1130 temp = 67 ph = 5.6 I did add a few ml of ph up to raise it to 5.6 ph but that would not add 150 ppm to my numbers (maybe 10 to 20 ppm added from the little ph up I used).. its just boggles me and am curious if others had this and figured out why the jump .. thank you more info...

Hydroponics / Aeroponics RDWC how much PK to add Hello all my first grow with RDWC system. So far my plants look great 3 weeks into flower 360 litre system 8 plants. I have another 8 plant system for veg. I needed to veg the plants for a week longer in the flower room so started them on grow nutrients then just topped up with bloom nutes around 1 week into flower and have continued to do so, around 20 litres a day. I am in the zero change out camp apart from flush (they had a fresh batch when they changed rooms from veg to flower).... RDWC how much PK to add more info...

Hydroponics / Aeroponics Bleach in DWC Hello, I have resorted to adding 8 drops per gallon of bleach to my 5 gallon bubble bucket after battling the slime. After researching, it seems to have no ill effect to the plant. Just curious if anyone else has used bleach and if so at what strength? How was your results? I have tried H2O2 30ml/gal at 17.5% NO HELP I have tried Sub B, voodoo juice, and orca NO HELP I have clean setup with optimal res temps NO HELP None of these have done a thing an so I have decided to run a... Hydroponics / Aeroponics How get 2lb per flood table? I used to pull 3lbs consistently in my 8x4 space, under 2 x 1000w hps. 4 week veg. Now im switching to COB (1300w) and 2X 4 by 4 flood tables. I was thinking i should easily pull the same weight or better once i get dialled in. In fact, i figure i should be able to do 2lbs per table. But... how to do it? I have a 24 plant count limit on my med lic. Another restriction is that i have 71 inches total height in the room when my lights are all the way up. So take off 22 in for light distance...
