Big pH swings

Hey all, hope everyone is good. So I've got a little problem that I've been fighting during this grow. I set my pH at 5.85 or so, and the next morning when I check it, it's down to 4.5 :confused: I haven't had this problem before, I have always had to bring pH down. Using GHE trio (well Micro and Bloom only in this stage - Weekly feed) - Calcium/Magesium (more about this later) and GHE Bloom Booster. I was using some hydroguard product, but I thought this is what was causing the bad pH...

Hey all! I thought I'd share an experiment about achieving from seeds to R/DWC directly. First, sprout the seed in paper towel... Should take ~48 hours, then fill your netpot with clays. Take the little one with squeezers and place it gently, leaving the shell's side in an upside position, between two pebbles, to make it easier for the head to grow and reach for the light.... Is AISI-302 stainless steel good for the reservoir with nutrients?

I am wondering if AISI-302 stainless steel parts are suited for permantent contact with the nutrients? It is because I am thinking about using a non return valve which in the reservoir which has AISI-302 grade parts. I don't know how aggressive the nutrients are to metals and if this kind of stainless steel might bleed toxic stuff into the reservoir.... Any idea? April 22, 2019 at 04:01PM Read more about this fix
