I've been trying to come up with a solution to the age old problem of roots and/or media clogging up the drains on my Hempy buckets, but I know it's an issue all hydro growers can run into.
I was wondering if anyone had ever tried making a "filter" cap from the material of a fabric pot to place over the inlet for the drainage to keep roots/media from clogging the pipes/hoses?
I figure they're made for the purpose of allowing runoff to pass through pretty much unimpeded, and should last...
