turning air pump off for 30min every 2hrs? what do u guys think?

So i have my air pump turning off for 30 min every 2hrs to give it some rest.
I was wondering what you guys think about this? also i was thinking maybe when it turns off it would give the roots some time to rest.
do u guys think this is a good idea or a bad idea?
should it be on all the time? or say off less frequent or more frequent?
i have everything automated so its easy to set whatever parameter i want.

Hey all! I thought I'd share an experiment about achieving from seeds to R/DWC directly. First, sprout the seed in paper towel... Should take ~48 hours, then fill your netpot with clays. Reservoir - how cold is too cold?

I figured you hydro guys (DWC) would know about water temps as it is so critical for you. I know lower temps have higher O2, like 68 is ideal I believe. But if you get much lower like in the high 50s will that cause stress to the plant? from Hydroponics / Aeroponics read more
