Calcium/magnesium carbonate + amino acids

Hello to everyone :). Let's suppose hardness of water is 180 mg/l calcium carbonate + 20 mg/l magnesium carbonate. I visited this link: https://www.easy-grow.co.uk/amino-acids-hard-water/ where it's stated:

"The best solution for hard water problems is to use a hard water nutrient formula along with an amino acid chelator. The hard water nutrient formula adjusts for the extra minerals in the hard water, and the amino acids keep the minerals soluble and available to the plant...

How concentrated to make Nutrient Solution in my 13 Gallon RDWC Reservoir for One big Plant?

I am modifying my Power Grower RDWC systems to have a 13 Gallon Reservoir. And in general my tendency has been to make my PPM stronger then what they actually consume nutrient wise! I have done this because they don't seem to burn and because they can consume the whole entirely of the reservoir in one day at their peak flowering cycle. In Veg my plants can drink as high as 1400 PPM which seems crazy. But as soon as I flip the light cycle this drops to about 600-700. .5 conversion And I... Res Cooling: PC Liquid Cooling Radiator Hack

Greetings, I've been recently trying different methods to reduce my nutrient solution temps and I stumbled across a solution that is quite interesting. I used PC liquid cooling parts as a radiator through which I continually circulated my solution. Thanks to the second law of thermodynamics , radiators are an effective solution for transferring heat. Plus I figured a CPU was a hell of lot hotter than my reservoir, so it... Is AISI-302 stainless steel good for the reservoir with nutrients?

I am wondering if AISI-302 stainless steel parts are suited for permantent contact with the nutrients? It is because I am thinking about using a non return valve which in the reservoir which has AISI-302 grade parts. I don't know how aggressive the nutrients are to metals and if this kind of stainless steel might bleed toxic stuff into the reservoir.... Any idea? April 22, 2019 at 04:01PM Read more about this fix
