Hiya Having some issues with my grow, it just keeps throwing curved balls at me. Basically - i had what looked like nitrogen toxicity. So she had a 2.5 flush in just pHd water, she looked pretty bad towards the end of that. Ppm stayed the same, i thought it might rise as she puked out the excess N. About 6 hours ago she got a new tank with 450ppm of AH Bloom (0-5-5) specially chose that as it had no N. 450 seemed like a reasonable strength feed after a flush. And now, in 6 hours pH 5.9 risen... I've read and heard others say just enough for the roots to touch. I'm using 5 gallon buckets with about 3 gallons of water. I change the water weekly and when I do I notice my plants damn near drink it all leaving hardly in the buckets. I'm on week two of flowering and used this amount the whole time. I'm just worried about getting root rot. As of now my roots are massive and white and doing fine. So should I lower the level of water and change more often or leave it alone? So my TAP readings are PPM 200 PH 6.8 I know it has a chlorine and chloramine so i was thinking to let it outside for 24 hr most of chlorine will evaporate and use Campden tablets to remove chloramine or maybe use something like this ? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Y1D6YFQ/ref=ask_ql_qh_dp_hza Main reasons im asking 1. I used to pull 3lbs consistently in my 8x4 space, under 2 x 1000w hps. 4 week veg. Now im switching to COB (1300w) and 2X 4 by 4 flood tables. I was thinking i should easily pull the same weight or better once i get dialled in. In fact, i figure i should be able to do 2lbs per table. But... how to do it? I have a 24 plant count limit on my med lic. Another restriction is that i have 71 inches total height in the room when my lights are all the way up. So take off 22 in for light distance... Sup everyone, welcome to thread that will contain the journey of this LPA build and setup and prob its inaugural run. Ive been wanting to try aero or rdwc for a bit, i figure a nice winter project isnt such a bad idea. The plan: i will run 4 totes(1 plant per) off a 40g res, feeding a manifold thats connected to all tote sprayers. Runoff will be drained out the bottom and back into the res. Materials : 4 x 27gallon Rectangular totes, 29"x20"x15" 1 x 40 gallon low rise reservoir 1 x 800... Low Pressure Aero build...it has begun!

Hey people lets talk about cloning temperatures...some say 70 some say 80. When I take clones using Rapid Rooters and a Dome... I get quicker roots in summertime when the temp is 80... in the wintertime the temp drops down to around 70 and the clones take twice as long to root. I have the ez cloner its running a temp of 78*F.... people are saying you want to be at 70*F....WHY? Is it just because the slime monster and bacteria say away with the colder temps??? They have clonex clear rez... What is the proper water temperature for cloning using a cloning machine

And then keep adding it until week 6 of flower? This bottle I have of DNF nutes doesn't really give me any feed schedule for the stuff other than add 1/4tsp per litre. This will be my second indoor grow, my last one was a single DWC and now I'm upgrading to a 2'x4' tent, I'll be growing a scrog, number of plants TBD. My original plan was to start off with 1 Rubbermaid eventually transfer to 3 Rubbermaid bins once the scrog fills up, each one as their own DWC, since they will pretty much exactly fill up my floor space. I need some advice. I have built my low pressure aeroponics setup, and everything seems to work alright...except the fountain pump makes a hell of a noise. The system is basically two containers stacked. Pump is in the bottom with pvc pipe running vertically up. There is an off-take to the side for draining with a valve, and the main line continues to run past that to the top container where it splits into horizontal pvc with low pressure sprayers. Hello all, So I got some root rot few days ago and someone on this forum suggested i use Southern AG. Looks like they are recovering right? Should i be worried about the rot on some parts of the roots or just let it be and it will go away by itself? not sure what to do here? Total stretch 2 inches... Anyone else have that? Know why? All the horror stories I read but I never noticed anyone stating theirs didn't move in the 3 weeks... Some pics.. red line was pre flip.. besides that... Looks like I'll get at least 2 pounds off this one plant. A few have gotten roots stuck and caused some water overflow, which i don’t have the best preventive measure for as I am not in a basement and flodding is the worst thing that could happen lol. But besides being diligent and... Any way to add mesh?

Got a letter today stating that starting in a week or so, the city will be replacing the water main on the street I live on. No estimated completion date or anything. I typically fill my systems straight from the tap with a garden hose and I am assuming there will be some level of contamination from the work. How do you guys think I should handle this, or do you think im overreacting? I have a collapsible 200 gallon holding tank available. I was thinking id just fill that sometime next... Dont want to risk having them overgrow during flowering and me running out of space in the tent lol. maximum space i have from the top of the bucket to the top of the tent that the light can be is 53" now if i take out another 10" for the space between the buds and the light that leaves me 43" and my plants now are about 17 to 20" I have... need some advice re swapping to flowering!

Ok, I have been using PH Down Dry to adjust my tank. I am wanting to flush for awhile and that will put me low on that to make a flush tank and then make a nute tank back up. I have a spa and use a product called PH minus that contains 93.3% sodium bisulfate and 6.7 % sodium sulfate. Is that spa PH down save for hydro? So I've never done hydro and my neighbor is starting his first seedlings in rockwool, just 2 very quick questions, 1: how deep in the rockwool should the seed be sown? These are the round rockwool pods that open up from the side it's not a hole that goes down. 2: how high should the water in the tray be? I was planning on using Hunter for the irrigation controller + pump start relay, but might choose TrolMaster's Aqua-x since it can control multiple pumps/devices, so I could control the veg room too. Once the seeds crack & have the little white tap root showing gently place them low in a neoprene disk & in the cloner 3. Hi all, I have a question or two, regarding the CANNA GROW GUIDES.. I understand how to fill in and use the guides..but when should I ~ if at all change from "LIGHT FEEDING CHART" to the "MEDIUM FEED CHART". . and then finally from medium to "HEAVY FEED CHART"...??? Does it depend on what you are growing , strain, size , age..etc.. and should I pay any attention to the light medium and heavy varient if I am already checking the EC is in range...? Currently am vegging just in rockwoool cubes and hydroton in essentially litter boxes. 5 plants to one. Vegging for like 6 weeks. then moving to RDWC. I feel like I could be doing a better veg system. i’ve seen others after a 5 week veg seem a lot bigger, obviously many favors but Infeel the roots almost get root bound sometimes? some when they move to the buckets explode with growth while others barely explode at all yet looked very similar root wise and size leaving veg. Ok, so it's my first grow and I have managed to make just about every mistake in the book. This little auto, 2vast 2fast, is somehow still alive in spite of me... although she's not looking too pretty. So, here is where I am at. She is being grown in a dwc 6 gallon bucket under a 300 watt blurple. (I have a new light on order, but it's not arrived yet.) Light is about 18" from my plant. She's 6 weeks old and quite stunted. My pH buffer solutions for calibration of my meters are out of date; I see no precipitation of salts in the bottles; are they still good? I have VWR brand 4, 7,and 10. The neutral yellow 7 buffer solution looks almost clear now, but the red 4 and blue 10 look the same as when new (still blue and red). I think the color dyes are the only things that can actually degrade. When I check the neutral against a newer but still expired 7 from cole parmer it's still within 0.1 pH unit. I assume... hey guys, ill post a few pics but had a few questions about what defficiency i gots. and my roots arent growing into the water their growing like outwards from the netpot. before i remember the roots just loved being in the water from.another grow. heres some info 25 gal system rdwc gh flora trio nutes ro water cal mag bleach 10ml water temp is 65-69f air temp been 60f-83f ppm is around 900 and ph was 5.3. ive since lowered ppm to 680 and ph is now 5.8. plants just look sad, not sure... plants lookin awful weird roots

I added about 2ml per gallon of 35% h2o2 to my res but i did it a little faster then i normally do and i just noticed most of their leafs are curled and basically looked burned from the inside. The h2o2 is the only thing i did today and everything looked amazing the morning. Will they recover or is it game over for my them is it possible it could of been from the heat wave we had today? its outdoors in a greenhouse and the temps have been about 60 to 70 but today it reached about... Sup everyone, welcome to thread that will contain the journey of this LPA build and setup and prob its inaugural run. Ive been wanting to try aero or rdwc for a bit, i figure a nice winter project isnt such a bad idea. The plan: i will run 4 totes(1 plant per) off a 40g res, feeding a manifold thats connected to all tote sprayers. Runoff will be drained out the bottom and back into the res. Materials : 4 x 27gallon Rectangular totes, 29"x20"x15" 1 x 40 gallon low rise reservoir 1 x 800... Low Pressure Aero build...it has begun!
