Below is a pic of my relatively young plant. It is growing in a rockwool (where I sprouted it) in a hydroponic type set up, in a net cup in a enclosed container with a bubbler. Originally I used spring water, but not too long ago I switched to using old fish tank water, I figured since it had lots of nitrates it would be good for it. And it seems to be great, for awhile. Wondering if anyone has tried to start seeds using an aero cloner - no dirt/perlite/rockwool used. My thoughts are... 1. Start the seeds in a paper towel 2. One of my plant has been gulping down nutrients (water changing from red to clear). The EC dropped from 1.0 to below .8 pretty much over 24 hours. pH dropped from about 6.0 to 5.4 in the same time. She is under a 300W LED inside a 2 gal bucket that I replace about every two days (filled to approx 1.5 gal of liquid) and is 23 days old (above ground). Aero cloner just seemed cleaner and easier, I used a new scalpel, sterilized it with 91% rubbing alcohol, made 90 cut (I usually scape sides of cuttings myself, aero instructions told me not to scrape sides, I did some of both), dipped it in rooting gel (always poured into separate dish), used tap water. Hi, I am in budding now using GH nutes at a ratio of 1-2-3, 1 grow, 2 micro, 3 bloom. I do not want the finished product to have a high leaf to bud ratio. They are ten days into flowering and have tripled in amount of plant material since I turned them. I dont want to use airstones. I need to floom a rain water barell with the size of around 500 liters or 130 gallons. And then I need to floom also a 150 liter reservoir or around 40 gallons. I am not really sure what pump (specs) I should choose for flooming. Also how often I need to floom. Any recommendation? Can I use my flooming pumps also for mixing the nutrients? Ok, so about 7 or so weeks ago I found a Canadian vendor selling the "new PH perfect" sensi bloo m so I bought it. At first I was using the other sensi bloom that wasn't PH perfect. When I started using the what I call "PH stable" because it still isn't perfect, I saw really nice results, with a lot less hassle for me. After 4 weeks I saw some deficiencies. Looks like they might be doing a combination of aeroponics and fogponics but not positive. They state they use a large droplet and a smaller 10 micron droplet to maximize growth. I flipped to flower on 2-7-2020 just completed week 6 of flower and i cant tell if my buds are growing at normal pace or something is wrong? I feel like for this stage they should be more connected but looks like i have a lot of gaps in between the flowers. is this normal? Does anyone know when using fogponics what the nutrient levels should be as compared to suggested for hydroponics? Also how much fog will condensate for recycling? If using 8 gallons a day how much of that will condensate back into liquid?

Hey guys, just built myself an indoor hydroponic system for growing vegetables and proceeded to use soil in a coffee filter in a plastic cup with a hole in the bottom which is then stuck in the hole in the piping. I have zero growing experience and didnt really research before popping the seeds in and my question is was it stupid to use soil as a medium? Will this still work? There are tons of air bubbles on the cups when you pull them out because of the waterfall scenario that happens in... Soilponics?!

4 plants in rdwc scrog. Genetics are DNA lemon skunk. Taken from my favorite pheno of my last seed run. On the seed run this pheno finished at 9 weeks but this round it's taking way longer. Today is day 80 and still not many cloudy trichs and they dont seem to be putting on the bulk at all. (Same light, nutes etc.) Question is, has anyone ever experienced a clone that finishes this much later than the mother plant? Hello all, A days ago I picked up a small 6 net pot hydroponic box. First time trying it out. I set it up and put my little seedlings (that are in rockwool) in the hydroton and put in all the nutes. This will be my second indoor grow, my last one was a single DWC and now I'm upgrading to a 2'x4' tent, I'll be growing a scrog, number of plants TBD. A few weeks ago, I noticed that the new leaves were coming in lemon yellow. I figured it was a Nitrogen deficiency but didn't think much of it as, the lower leaves were still fine and the new ones eventually greened up (from the veins out). Then, one... I read an article online that advised to increase PH from 5.8 to 6-6.1 for early flower stage and 6.2-6.3 for late flowering. This applies to hydro. I'm also seeing conflicting nutrient PH uptake charts for hydro online, so it's hard for me to determine if 6.3 PH will have the best uptake of nutrients essential for that stage of the plant life. Has anyone else tried this and or confirm this is accurate? I also understand mild PH swings are also ideal to get a wider spectrum of nutrients... Ive been watering everyday, plants loving it, always praying. 15 litre fabric pots with cannas coco professional plus 30 percent perlite mix. I feed my gals 2 liters of water each by hand daily, with a nutrient ratio of 15 ml of CANNA A and 15ml of B, 6ml of cannazym, 6ml of boost and 3ml of rhizotonic to 6 litres of water everyday, ive never had a problem. Hey all, so i got a 8 bucket system going and its doing pretty well from what i can tell but need some help understanding how and when and how much to top off with nuts between res changes. so currently after a full res change my EC is 2.2 / 1100ppm(500scale) ( this is just for reference ) now, daily, my plants are consuming about 100ppm 2-28-2020 water change and starting ec 2.2 / 1100ppm 2-29-2020 ec 1940 / 970ppm 3-1-2020 ec 1820 / 910ppm 3-2-2020 ec 1620 / 810ppm My... topping off with nuts when and how?

Does anyone know when using fogponics what the nutrient levels should be as compared to suggested for hydroponics? Also how much fog will condensate for recycling? If using 8 gallons a day how much of that will condensate back into liquid? March 06, 2020 at 12:44PM Read more about this fix

I'm a personal medical grower that's grown in soil for a couple years.. still learning lots every grow.. that being said I'm switching to a hydroponic setup and am looking for new nutrient line up (used General Hydroponics) previously. I Heard these where great any ideas ? Would appreciate it also if you have these, did you use the micro and bloom-... Years ago there was an excel spreadsheet preloaded with GH flora values and you could plug in your numbers and get all the data. It was originally kind of passed around along with Lucas formula so people could see that you hit all your numbers. I was always able to find it on the net by searching Lucas formula spreadsheet but that no longer works. Anybody happen to know where I can find a copy these days? Pretty much just the title. I used the GH ph up/down this grow and they were great for most of the grow, but during the last few weeks of flower ive had to use a LOT of up. Im getting a little more drift down now than I was for veg and early flower. itll drop 0.3-0.4 over 3-4 days, but it takes like 40-50ml of the GH ph up to bring it from 5.6-5.7 to 6.0+ Is there something more concentrated I can use or should I just buy bigger bottles and get used to using this much every few days? Hiya Having some issues with my grow, it just keeps throwing curved balls at me. Basically - i had what looked like nitrogen toxicity. So she had a 2.5 flush in just pHd water, she looked pretty bad towards the end of that. Ppm stayed the same, i thought it might rise as she puked out the excess N. About 6 hours ago she got a new tank with 450ppm of AH Bloom (0-5-5) specially chose that as it had no N. 450 seemed like a reasonable strength feed after a flush. And now, in 6 hours pH 5.9 risen... Nute issues DWC
