Hi all. This was posted elsewhere for a a suspected feeding issue.. which has since began to become a ph issue too. So a bit of copy/paste. My set up Single site DWC with airstone Temps 78/70 day/night Res Temps. 70/64 RH 40-45% Maxi bloom dry nutes RO water NL5xHAZE Week 5 from flip So for the last few weeks my girl seems to be eating less and less. I was around 1000ppm at one stage early flower.. but ec kept rising as she drank water. And she's drinking plenty. Approx 25 litres... PH 5.7-4.7 in 12 hours. DWC

Hi, First post here I'm setting up 3 rdwc systems that will hold about 200 liters of water. Right now I have tap water where I have the plants, but for winter they shut of the water for 5-6 months so it wont freeze. Theres a tap outside that I can fill and carry the water 500 meters, but a; that would suck and b; some people might wonder why I am carrying all that water every week. Hey guys, I'm an organic soil grower, but really fancy a go at dwc. My room is only 2.5x3ft and I grow 4 per run. Does anyone have any good advice or links that cover the basics. I assume I'll need to run it with liquid oxygen as my room is 72-90 C I'd like to use a tote container of about 50 litres. Any advise is really appreciated! Happy growing.

So what happened was on the 128 site ezcloner Low profile pissed me off bigtime. I shouldnt have left it alone for 3 whole days bit this shouldnt have happened. All the cuts rooted fine and were nice and white when i left them the last time. I get there and nearly half are yellow so i open it up and the fucking pump tipped over sideways and only half were getting sprayed. Half had brownish roots. Like wtf. So I have a 4x4 tent currently in flowering and my watering practices suck donkey sacs right now... so I have been watering the plants inside the tent on raised square trays which are on top of circle trays... now when I water the run off ends up getting to the height of my air pots ... to get rid of the run off I’ve been taking each plant out of the tent one by one which is killing my back lol I’m in five gallon air pots (coco coir) . I am working up to a automated watering system for a DTW Hempy system. I have been keeping my nutes mixed in a 5gal bucket with a Airstone to see how long my nutes stay stable. I am on hard well water where I am. Here is what my Temp Rez dose. Nutes = FloraNova Grow/Bloom, KoolBloom, Bud Factory X, Cal/Mag. That is correct. Same EXACT ingredient as EZ Clone Clear Rez that sells for $20 a QT. Get your self a 1 lb bag of HTH Pool shock non PH buffered available online and most hardware stores (bought mine from Ace). Mix 1 GRAM (450 in the bag) per gallon of solution. Will make the SAME EXACT concentration fo the SAME EXACT product. $4 will make you 450 gallons of the stuff and will treat over 286,000 gallons of water !! Should last you a little while ... Hey people lets talk about cloning temperatures...some say 70 some say 80. When I take clones using Rapid Rooters and a Dome... I get quicker roots in summertime when the temp is 80... in the wintertime the temp drops down to around 70 and the clones take twice as long to root. I have the ez cloner its running a temp of 78*F.... people are saying you want to be at 70*F....WHY? Is it just because the slime monster and bacteria say away with the colder temps??? Sooo, I didn't optimize my space very well and my plants started growing way too large for the tent. View attachment 4399173 So I started just making clones and just chucking it into whatever medium was available and threw it outside my balcony. 3 soil, 1 kratky. I realized that the kratky grow was doing much better than the soil alternatives, so it made me wonder, could I do a tiny balcony-don't-care-much-about-it grow? how much do you fill the res for dwc? I've been filling it almost to the bottom of net pot with very little roots hanging but lots of bubbles. Should I only fill like halfway to make roots grow? they're big plants with established roots

long story short,started in coco got sick ,changed to hydroton top feed,then into dwc.roots damaged ea time i transplanted.recovering ,now roots into the water.want to switch to flower but not sure as roots arnent near as big as if they started in dwc.they say bigger roots bigger fruits.

I've got an Active Aqua 60W, 70 L/min pump coming for my 4x5 gallon bucket UnderCurrent build. An 8 output manifold comes with it. What I'm wondering is, would 2 air stones per bucket produce more dissolved oxygen than 1 air stone per bucket at twice the pressure (because 4 of the outputs would be shut off)?

I'm in deep water culture hydroponics, NOT soil! How much 3 percent hydrogen peroxide, with how much water do I dilute to kill fungus gnat larvae? I read online 1 part hydrogen peroxide per I think it was 3 or 4 parts water. I tried that on my northern lights in my hydroton and it literally fried her and killed her. I'll be starting a new bean in about a few weeks but I'm flexible on that, and I thought seeing as there's a lot of yappity yap around hydro, maybe some walking to go with the talking may be in order. Any pure hydro system, i.e. inert substrate, either drain to waste or recirculating whatever floats your buoy. I'll be using a shallow water culture and picking one of the beans below, I don't mind which it is but I'd like to have a crack at a Mephisto. We'll all need the same bean to make it... I'm looking to start a perpetual grow. I have a system in mind for a comercial setup and wanted to try it out small scale first. So being thrifty and having access to an eavestrough guy's brake I decided to make my own channels to closely match the dimensions of the comercial system. I have a ton of regular bloom nutrients and when I say regular I mean the nutrients that are specified for coco .. I was wondering cuz I’m a little strap for cash at the moment can I use the bloom nutrients that are “coco specified” until I buy the coco bloom nutrients? Running sensi coco grow a+b but I have to switch to flower within the next week but don’t have the sensi... Can you use traditional bloom nutes in coco ? Or have to be coco specific?

I was just wondering if there’s any people out there that can give me some tips to shorten the learning curve. Gonna be running a 8x4 tent, rooting in bubble clonner and transplanting into 3 gal smart pots in straight coco on 4x4 flood tables, ebb and flow. depending on how many clones root ima do 16-30 on a table. Planning for 1-2 week veg, throwing up a trellis just for support. First time... Converting from promix to coco advice

So question.... I’m only in 1 gallon pots right now but I can’t figure out my watering. So currently I’m feeding my biggest girls 750 ppm. I don’t see signs of nute burn but my runoff was 1180ppm. Now here’s the thing my biggest plants take 2 days to dry out by the second day my pots are really light... now when I water them it’s take me just under a gollon to get run off ... when my run off occurs I’m getting like 1180 in ppms... so then I add more nutrients solution (lower ppm solution) as... Am I watering too much or the wrong way in coco?

I put together this RDWC system with 2 - 5gal. grow buckets and 1 - 5 gal. res. I use a 7 stage system for RO water. Since I liked the Super Skunk so much from the last grow that I thought I'd grow another (plant on the left). The other plant (plant on the right) is Jock Horror. I grew this a few years ago and want to use up all my feminized seeds before I go on to other strains again. Right now I have 2 300watt & 1 600watt led lights. so I thought I would run 8 plants this time. White widow from nirvana. My single plant grow went amazing and really put out a lot of beautiful crystally buds. But I ran into a problem with bud mold because my home ac went out of whack. By the time I fixed it I would say I lost about 2-3 ozs to it. I didn’t take a chance and harvested about 10 days early. Lost some thickness but the volume of it all is just over whelming. I did a two plant grow of big bud and got 22 ozs. That shit... Finished my 8 plant dwc grow white widow

As I've posted before, my reservoir will drop ppm instead of going up like everyone else. Most people have to add pure water to it, while I keep having to top off with more nutes. I assumed they wanted more nutes. By the time I raise it to where the it's at least the same every morning, I get a little leaf burn on new growth tips, so I back off. I use GH flora series, recharge, and mammoth P, top feed recirculating in 7 gal pots of rockwool. Other than my plants are taking in way more... PPM is driving me crazy .... We pour water in trays, and plants drink the water in about 20-30min. We feed every second day. Today its been 7week of flowering and i decided to test the run off (although there is no run off in bottom feeding) I took water with Ph of 6.0 and EC of 2.2 and poured it on the plant from top until runoff 20%. The runoff... Higher Ec runoff, bottom feed.

I've grown in FF soil and also in coco. I'm thinking about moving to a RDWC setup... I already ordered a 1/4 water chilling, and 2" uniseals. Now I'm just trying to get the rest of my supplies. To get to my question, I'm debating on whether to go with eight 8 gallon square buckets vs eight standard 5 gallon round buckets in a 4x8 tent. Hey, I just a couple bottles of these bills perfect gro and bloom , by "spray and grow" nutrients and was wondering if any 1 had any info on them or have tried these, and from what I can tell it's a 2 part and a micro part for foiler feed, and since I didn't get that bottle could I just use some micro out of my general hydo flora series to supplement? , pics attched below, thanks ahead of time guys. Hello everyone! I just noticed many nutrient brands, such as Advanced Nutrients, Canna Aqua, GHE Flora Nova, etc. already contain humic and fulvic acids on their nutrients. How does the usage of a sterilizing agent affect humic and fulvic acids? Wouldn't be pointless mixing UC Roots/H2O2/etc. with humic and fulvic acids on your reservoir? I bought botanicare coco grow pre washed and buffed ... but I rinsed and buff anyway... now after I soaked the coco in cal/mag solution overnight I then rinse the coco back to my tap water ppm which is 66. Was I not supposed to flush after the buff? I’m dealing with some intervenial chlorosis looks like cal/mag issue or iron in my opinion... so I was wondering if I shouldn’t have flushed after I buffed the coco

Hello! Welcome to my 11th waterfarm grow. I haven’t done one in 4 years, but I am very excited to get started again because I have some great new gear!
