Bought nutes in March. Mix my a&b in 5 gal colored buckets with RO. After 3-4 days, they start to smell. They have lids( not air tight ) , in a room that never gets over 75. Not in direct light.
What am i missing? I thought i could go least 7 days before having issues.
side note - did RDWC for years and never had a rez smell, but it was constantly circulating. Do i need airstones in these buckets to keep them fresh?
