Welding PVC fittings and panels together with a hot air plastic welding gun?

Been trying to custom fabricate new systems with various PVC materials, like gluing the rims of PVC pipe caps\fittings onto a sheet, or a sheet to sheet, or fittings onto vinyl fence post sleeves, etc, and not getting the results I would like.. Using clear primer and regular medium/heavy cement, but the seams pop apart too easy. I have no problems with gluing up pipes and fittings of course, but that's because they are all interference tight fitting joints.

I am modifying my Power Grower RDWC systems to have a 13 Gallon Reservoir. And in general my tendency has been to make my PPM stronger then what they actually consume nutrient wise! I have done this because they don't seem to burn and because they can consume the whole entirely of the reservoir in one day at their peak flowering cycle. How to correct Rising pH/PPM runoff

Okay so this is my first run with Hydroponics. I have been running a top feed drip line system. I am running my girls in 6 inch rockwool cubes placed in 7 x 7 pots filled with hydroton.
