Not sure if DWC rez is blocking all light... Seems they aren't made as good as they use to be.

I got these DWC totes and I'm not sure they are thick enough to make the inside of the rez where the water is completely dark. I put some mylar over the rez and it blocks the light better, is mylar necessary of is it over kill?? I use these totes under a T5 and 400 watt hps. What do u think?

Is AISI-302 stainless steel good for the reservoir with nutrients?

I am wondering if AISI-302 stainless steel parts are suited for permantent contact with the nutrients? It is because I am thinking about using a non return valve which in the reservoir which has AISI-302 grade parts. How to correct Rising pH/PPM runoff

Okay so this is my first run with Hydroponics. I have been running a top feed drip line system. I am running my girls in 6 inch rockwool cubes placed in 7 x 7 pots filled with hydroton.
