Keep the bubbles - lose the stones!

Let me explain why air-stones are a waste of money and actually impair the oxygenation of your reservoir solution.

Fact: Water is oxygenated buy the movement of it's surface, not by little bubbles within.

Although the tiny bubbles produced by an air-stone do agitate the surface of your res water, if you pull the air-stone off of your hose, the hose alone will produce much larger bubbles that agitate the surface much better. Your nutrient solution will ripple like a lake and oxygenate...

Is AISI-302 stainless steel good for the reservoir with nutrients?

I am wondering if AISI-302 stainless steel parts are suited for permantent contact with the nutrients? It is because I am thinking about using a non return valve which in the reservoir which has AISI-302 grade parts. How to correct Rising pH/PPM runoff

Okay so this is my first run with Hydroponics. I have been running a top feed drip line system. I am running my girls in 6 inch rockwool cubes placed in 7 x 7 pots filled with hydroton.
