This is a long story but i will try and shorten it. Skip to the last section to get on with it. I have been growing RDWC for years and for the last at least almost 7 I have been a strictly Bennies Beneficial Microbes Inoculator. Once upon a time I got root rot in the summer with higher temperatures and discovered Hydroguard and also the usage of H2O2! I have evolved into a Multi Microbe inoculant (ha ha).

I am modifying my Power Grower RDWC systems to have a 13 Gallon Reservoir. And in general my tendency has been to make my PPM stronger then what they actually consume nutrient wise! I have done this because they don't seem to burn and because they can consume the whole entirely of the reservoir in one day at their peak flowering cycle. In Veg my plants can drink as high as 1400 PPM which seems crazy. But as soon as I flip the light cycle this drops to about 600-700. .5 conversion And I... Is AISI-302 stainless steel good for the reservoir with nutrients?

I am wondering if AISI-302 stainless steel parts are suited for permantent contact with the nutrients? It is because I am thinking about using a non return valve which in the reservoir which has AISI-302 grade parts. I don't know how aggressive the nutrients are to metals and if this kind of stainless steel might bleed toxic stuff into the reservoir.... Any idea? April 22, 2019 at 04:01PM Read more about this fix
