Diy hydroponic filter ideas

Ok so I'm currently running RDWC and I recently upgraded the water pump to get more circulation. The pump I ordered is very powerful but cheap as it doesn't have no filter at all. I looked around my house and finally I took a 5 gallon fabric pot and placed the pump inside the pot. I then wire tied top to help seal it up. Do you guys think this will work until I buy a filter box or a inline filter for my system? Does anyone have better ideas that don't involve spending $? I just did this...

Is AISI-302 stainless steel good for the reservoir with nutrients?

I am wondering if AISI-302 stainless steel parts are suited for permantent contact with the nutrients? It is because I am thinking about using a non return valve which in the reservoir which has AISI-302 grade parts. How to correct Rising pH/PPM runoff

Okay so this is my first run with Hydroponics. I have been running a top feed drip line system. I am running my girls in 6 inch rockwool cubes placed in 7 x 7 pots filled with hydroton.
