Rockwool 1/4" grow-cubes - any experience?

Hey guys,

Im thinking on tackling a grow using grodan 1/4"grow-cubes, mixed with a little bit of small hidroton bits, as a medium, in regular pots.

Any experience using them? I'm wondering how is the water perfusion, thinking about using a dripper in each pot, going for SOG using 1 gallon pots. will the water perfuse well and spread out even thoughout the bits?

Is AISI-302 stainless steel good for the reservoir with nutrients?

I am wondering if AISI-302 stainless steel parts are suited for permantent contact with the nutrients? It is because I am thinking about using a non return valve which in the reservoir which has AISI-302 grade parts. I don't know how aggressive the nutrients are to metals and if this kind of stainless steel might bleed toxic stuff into the reservoir.... Any idea? April 22, 2019 at 04:01PM Read more about this fix

How to correct Rising pH/PPM runoff

Okay so this is my first run with Hydroponics. I have been running a top feed drip line system. I am running my girls in 6 inch rockwool cubes placed in 7 x 7 pots filled with hydroton.
