Pump impeller vanes keep breaking

Greets all I'm new here hope to contribute as best I can, have had many successful crops though so I'm not quite a newbie. Question for you hydro/aeroponics folks:

Anyone ever run into an issue where water pump impeller vanes keep breaking? They all seem to be made the same, crappy plastic impeller with 5 or so vanes on it. Mind you I don't expect my pumps to last forever, but none of them seem to last a full year. Never ran dry, 3 separate pumps to ensure not overloaded, also to not have...

Hey all! I thought I'd share an experiment about achieving from seeds to R/DWC directly. First, sprout the seed in paper towel... Should take ~48 hours, then fill your netpot with clays. Take the little one with squeezers and place it gently, leaving the shell's side in an upside position, between two pebbles, to make it easier for the head to grow and reach for the light.... Is AISI-302 stainless steel good for the reservoir with nutrients?

I am wondering if AISI-302 stainless steel parts are suited for permantent contact with the nutrients? It is because I am thinking about using a non return valve which in the reservoir which has AISI-302 grade parts. I don't know how aggressive the nutrients are to metals and if this kind of stainless steel might bleed toxic stuff into the reservoir.... Any idea? April 22, 2019 at 04:01PM Read more about this fix
