Flood table new grow- Fill with hydroton or stick with net pot or bags?

Just that, I have been using 7 gallon bags filled with clay pebbles. I'm using bags over pots because they are more stable and hold more water because of the fabric.

I bought enough Hydroton to fill my 4x4 bed, because I wanted to try no bags since I'm always hearing about cleanliness.

Anyone want to chime in on there preference and the reasons?

Is AISI-302 stainless steel good for the reservoir with nutrients?

I am wondering if AISI-302 stainless steel parts are suited for permantent contact with the nutrients? It is because I am thinking about using a non return valve which in the reservoir which has AISI-302 grade parts. How to correct Rising pH/PPM runoff

Okay so this is my first run with Hydroponics. I have been running a top feed drip line system. I am running my girls in 6 inch rockwool cubes placed in 7 x 7 pots filled with hydroton.
