There are always better ways to do things, so if you can top this please share. From my old days with aquarium gravel washing, I remembered to shove the hose down in there and turn it on high. I augmented this by using a screwdriver to punch about 8 holes around the bottom of the bag. Run the water and watch the dirt wash away. Adjust the bag periodically to free up dirt that had found a little pocket to hide in. It isn't perfect as is evidenced by a minor amount of silt in the bottom...

I am modifying my Power Grower RDWC systems to have a 13 Gallon Reservoir. And in general my tendency has been to make my PPM stronger then what they actually consume nutrient wise! Is AISI-302 stainless steel good for the reservoir with nutrients?

I am wondering if AISI-302 stainless steel parts are suited for permantent contact with the nutrients? It is because I am thinking about using a non return valve which in the reservoir which has AISI-302 grade parts. How to correct Rising pH/PPM runoff

Okay so this is my first run with Hydroponics. I have been running a top feed drip line system. I am running my girls in 6 inch rockwool cubes placed in 7 x 7 pots filled with hydroton.
