Is the Blue Lab Truncheon worth the $96?

I'm having some trouble with the cheap tds / ppm meters giving inaccurate readings and ordered a truncheon on the recommendation of a friend. I'm told the truncheon gives more accurate readings in both EC and 500 scale PPM. Is it worth the nearly $100 I spent on this thing or am I just burning my money?

Hey all! I thought I'd share an experiment about achieving from seeds to R/DWC directly. First, sprout the seed in paper towel... Should take ~48 hours, then fill your netpot with clays. Take the little one with squeezers and place it gently, leaving the shell's side in an upside position, between two pebbles, to make it easier for the head to grow and reach for the light.... Reservoir - how cold is too cold?

I figured you hydro guys (DWC) would know about water temps as it is so critical for you. I know lower temps have higher O2, like 68 is ideal I believe. But if you get much lower like in the high 50s will that cause stress to the plant? from Hydroponics / Aeroponics read more
