Waterfall RDWC

I've been wanting to experiment with a Waterfall system. I just want a small system for 4 or 5 plants. I'm old and have a lot of brain cells that have gone dormant. So some ideas from you experts would be greatly appreciated. I'm thinking of getting two of these and plumb it up for the system. This is 27 gallons and they have a 38 gallon also.black-yellow-hdx-storage-bins-hdx27gonline-5-64_1000.jpg.

I am modifying my Power Grower RDWC systems to have a 13 Gallon Reservoir. And in general my tendency has been to make my PPM stronger then what they actually consume nutrient wise! Is AISI-302 stainless steel good for the reservoir with nutrients?

I am wondering if AISI-302 stainless steel parts are suited for permantent contact with the nutrients? It is because I am thinking about using a non return valve which in the reservoir which has AISI-302 grade parts.
