Good, affordable PH tester?

I've been using the pH solution from my API aquarium pH test kit, but its a pain having to draw water, use drips, etc. every time, and it doesn't seem to measure below 7, and I know cannabis in a water solution prefers closer to 5.5. Can anyone recommend a good, or at least descent, pH tester that won't break the bank? What about this one...

Is AISI-302 stainless steel good for the reservoir with nutrients?

I am wondering if AISI-302 stainless steel parts are suited for permantent contact with the nutrients? It is because I am thinking about using a non return valve which in the reservoir which has AISI-302 grade parts. How to correct Rising pH/PPM runoff

Okay so this is my first run with Hydroponics. I have been running a top feed drip line system. I am running my girls in 6 inch rockwool cubes placed in 7 x 7 pots filled with hydroton.
