Automatic PH Control for under $150

Thought I'd share this since it's completely eliminated my need to manually adjust PH.

Pictured below is a PH Down drip line controlled by a solenoid switch and a Milwaukee Instruments PH controller. It holds PH in my 20 gallon res at exactly what I set it to. I put some cotton in the brass nozzle at the bottom to get the flow down to about one drop every 2 seconds.

Cost was $148 and it took about 15 minutes to set it up.

How concentrated to make Nutrient Solution in my 13 Gallon RDWC Reservoir for One big Plant?

I am modifying my Power Grower RDWC systems to have a 13 Gallon Reservoir. And in general my tendency has been to make my PPM stronger then what they actually consume nutrient wise! I have done this because they don't seem to burn and because they can consume the whole entirely of the reservoir in one day at their peak flowering cycle. In Veg my plants can drink as high as 1400 PPM which seems crazy. But as soon as I flip the light cycle this drops to about 600-700. .5 conversion And I... Is AISI-302 stainless steel good for the reservoir with nutrients?

I am wondering if AISI-302 stainless steel parts are suited for permantent contact with the nutrients? It is because I am thinking about using a non return valve which in the reservoir which has AISI-302 grade parts. I don't know how aggressive the nutrients are to metals and if this kind of stainless steel might bleed toxic stuff into the reservoir.... Any idea? Guide to Hydrogen Peroxide in hydroponics systems.

I found this pretty easily using Google, but I thought I would share the info. If it has been done already I apologize. This is originally from http://www.jasons-indoor-guide-to-organic-and-hydroponics-gardening.com/using-hydrogen-peroxide.html There are no doubts about the benefits of using hydrogen peroxide properly in a hydroponics system. This becomes especially true if your nutrient reservoir is kept above 72 degrees . Warm water holds less dissolved oxygen...
