If nute scheme says 0.8 ec nutes, does this mean, if tap water is 0.4, a total of 1.2 (0.4+0.8 or does this mean a total of 0.8 (0.4 tap water+ 0.4 nutes)?

Is AISI-302 stainless steel good for the reservoir with nutrients?

I am wondering if AISI-302 stainless steel parts are suited for permantent contact with the nutrients? It is because I am thinking about using a non return valve which in the reservoir which has AISI-302 grade parts. How to correct Rising pH/PPM runoff

Okay so this is my first run with Hydroponics. I have been running a top feed drip line system. I am running my girls in 6 inch rockwool cubes placed in 7 x 7 pots filled with hydroton.
