Hydroguard with Flying Skull Z7?

Anyone know if using Hydroguard with Flying Skull Z7 is beneficial? Currently running a 5 gallon bubble bucket dwc and just started using Hydroguard as well Flying Skull Z7 in my reservoir. Wondering if using both is beneficial or counter productive.

Hey all! I thought I'd share an experiment about achieving from seeds to R/DWC directly. First, sprout the seed in paper towel... Should take ~48 hours, then fill your netpot with clays. Take the little one with squeezers and place it gently, leaving the shell's side in an upside position, between two pebbles, to make it easier for the head to grow and reach for the light.... Is AISI-302 stainless steel good for the reservoir with nutrients?

I am wondering if AISI-302 stainless steel parts are suited for permantent contact with the nutrients? It is because I am thinking about using a non return valve which in the reservoir which has AISI-302 grade parts.
