Can roots get too big?

So I’ve got a possible issue looming. Looks like I’ve germinated my seeds a bit too soon. My room in Snr going to be ready for a lot longer than I first thought. So I’m going to be growing in rdwc. To begin the veg for them I built a dwc system thing. Basically a Plaster’s bath tub, put some Perspex on as a lid with net pots installed. I’m worried if the roots can get too big because they was only meant to be in here a couple weeks but they may be 5 weeks. Will I have issues with the roots entangling with the other plants roots?

In Veg my plants can drink as high as 1400 PPM which seems crazy. But as soon as I flip the light cycle this drops to about 600-700. .5 conversion And I... Is AISI-302 stainless steel good for the reservoir with nutrients?

I am wondering if AISI-302 stainless steel parts are suited for permantent contact with the nutrients? It is because I am thinking about using a non return valve which in the reservoir which has AISI-302 grade parts. I don't know how aggressive the nutrients are to metals and if this kind of stainless steel might bleed toxic stuff into the reservoir.... Any idea? April 22, 2019 at 04:01PM Read more about this fix
