So im growing in RDWC for the first time, ive got the alien system
30 litre pots
600watt led
GH nutes
I germinated seeds in rockwool and put into hydro system when roots were well established
Fed only water but saw some deficiencies so added nutes ppm went to around 530 ppm water is around 120 ppm so works out about 410 ppm
Ph is always between 5.6-5.9
Temp has been on the high side 21 degree celsius (been using frozen water bottles) buying a chiller soon any ideas which to buy?
Thought it was high put had to go with it
Roots began showing in hydro system around 12/03
First nute feed was on the 15/03
I have topped 2 of them once and the other 2 twice
Nearly 4 weeks in now roots are growing well i think but slow up top (will post pics)
Some questions
Since the first nute feed the ppm has stayed the same, they seem slow drinking water is that because they are only in early veg yet?
Also I haven’t added any more nutes or water as there seems to be plenty, do i need to? As i should be on week 3 of feeding
I had to take some water out of pots as i had to move they plants around, never put the water back in, thinking the roots will continue growing searching for water..?
Any feedback tips and tricks are appreciated ?
