Hi I recently set up a 4x2x6 ft tent with an ebb and flow system. Ebb & Gro buckets: Is it best to time the flood so that the buckets are fully flooded and then drain them immediately? Or is it better to let the plants soak for a few minutes before draining them? My friend just put his Ebb Flow 12 bucket system into but after veggin for about 6-7 weeks he watered 3 times for 15 minutes each time every 24 hours.... Im 5-6 weeks out in blooming with nevilles haze but i cant find the sweetspot for the EC level. At vegetive stage i was at 1.8 and the plant was loving it like mcdonalds but when I flipped over for 12/12 cyclus, one day I was checking the EC levels and it was up at 4.5!! After 3-4 days with only water and a background EC at 0.1 the reservoar was now at 0.7 but the PH was at 4 and im struggling to keep it at a decent level. 1.1 EC is too much and 0.7 is too little, and this plant seems very... Well this is my 2nd not so successful round of cuts in the aerocloner. I'm going on 9 days and only 3 or 4 cuts out of a total of 60 are showing roots. The PH is 5.5-6.0, running plain RO with a dose of beneficial tea. PPM 50, temp, 74F. I am currently running the pump 24/7, my question is, do I need to put this damn thing on a cycle timer in order to get it to work? Who here uses a timer? And what cycle is it running, 15 on, 15 off?
