Is changing res water in dwc really necessary?

Theoretically, if you're keeping the water clean and roots healthy, couldn't you just keep adding fresh water to the res? ...along with nutes and (hydroguard) ... maintaining desired ph and ppm.

For how much the plants drink later in their lifespan, it seems to me the water would be completely, newly cycled every week or multiple times a week anyway, just by adding so much fresh water to top off the res.

This is my first grow, and I'm just theorizing and planning for the best and easiest...

I am modifying my Power Grower RDWC systems to have a 13 Gallon Reservoir. And in general my tendency has been to make my PPM stronger then what they actually consume nutrient wise! I have done this because they don't seem to burn and because they can consume the whole entirely of the reservoir in one day at their peak flowering cycle. In Veg my plants can drink as high as 1400 PPM which seems crazy. But as soon as I flip the light cycle this drops to about 600-700. .5 conversion And I... How to correct Rising pH/PPM runoff

Okay so this is my first run with Hydroponics. I have been running a top feed drip line system. I am running my girls in 6 inch rockwool cubes placed in 7 x 7 pots filled with hydroton.
