Flood and Drain with Coco

Hey there, is anyone here running flood and drain with coco? I haven't used coco much, just for top feed DTW.

I am very adept at running flood and drain with hydroton and wondered if there are any changes other than pH being at 6.0 when using coco?

With expanded clay pellets I am flooding once every 4 hours when the lights are on. Should I use the same schedule with coco? or should I go every 5 or 6 hours?

Is there any issues with floating pots or anything like that?

Is AISI-302 stainless steel good for the reservoir with nutrients?

I am wondering if AISI-302 stainless steel parts are suited for permantent contact with the nutrients? It is because I am thinking about using a non return valve which in the reservoir which has AISI-302 grade parts. I don't know how aggressive the nutrients are to metals and if this kind of stainless steel might bleed toxic stuff into the reservoir.... Any idea? April 22, 2019 at 04:01PM Read more about this fix

How to correct Rising pH/PPM runoff

Okay so this is my first run with Hydroponics. I have been running a top feed drip line system. I am running my girls in 6 inch rockwool cubes placed in 7 x 7 pots filled with hydroton.
