Drip vs flood
Mon, 04 Feb 2019 05:45:12 +0000
Thx to the good people around here I’ve come up with a small system. Tote with pots full of clay pebbles.I started with the idea of flood but ended up with drip.
Is there gonna be much difference in growth between the two. Drip was just easier with what I had laying around and how the pots fit into the tub.
Thx

Reservoir - how cold is too cold?

I figured you hydro guys (DWC) would know about water temps as it is so critical for you. I know lower temps have higher O2, like 68 is ideal I believe. But if you get much lower like in the high 50s will that cause stress to the plant? from Hydroponics / Aeroponics read more

Germination of seeds - ready for r/dwc

Hey all! I thought I'd share an experiment about achieving from seeds to R/DWC directly. First, sprout the seed in paper towel... Should take ~48 hours, then fill your netpot with clays. Take the little one with squeezers and place it gently, leaving the shell's side in an upside position, between two pebbles, to make it easier for the head to grow and reach for the light.... Just soak your netpot every few hours to keep things moist... The root system will establish itself and you'll see... Germination of seeds - ready for r/dwc from Hydroponics / Aeroponics read more
