Hydro guard storage temp & reproduction

Hydroponics / Aeroponics Hydro guard storage temp & reproduction First off let me apologize for even asking this newb question lol.... Also I scour the Internet for about 10 minutes and found nothing so I figured somebody on here could help me out... Now I have 6 gallons of Hydro guard. I’m getting ready for a new build in a few weeks in my storage unit is full, I’m excited, but I fear that the higher temperatures may cause the bacteria to go bad, even though a warmer temperature is probably more beneficial to the bacteria breeding imo. It’s been... Hydro guard storage temp & reproduction more info...

ttystikk's hydro technique.

Hydroponics / Aeroponics ttystikk's hydro technique. So I've been doing a ton of research in preparation for getting my first grow off the ground and have become intrigued by all the things that were going on in @ttystikk 's garden. Much was said about his vert setup but I didn't see much discussion about his hydro setup at all. I reached out to him last night for more info but he suggested I create a new thread and tag him in. Anyway, take it away @ttystikk . I (and I'm sure many others) are curious to... ttystikk's hydro technique. more info...

Three types of hydro in a small tent on one airpump?

Hydroponics / Aeroponics Three types of hydro in a small tent on one airpump? I have decided to try an experiment for my second grow – which will also be my first time doing hydro. I know, probably a crazy idea, but I like to tinker around with new things and this sounds like fun and it wont kill me if all the plants die Im going to run three different types of hydro, at the same time, in the same small tent, on the same rez - using only a single air pump.... Best way to find new genes?

Hydroponics / Aeroponics Best way to find new genes? I'm moving soon, so i'll have to start at seed. I'm coming up on my 1 yr mark. Ive been only dwc in 5 gals. Usually just pop 3 or 4 seeds, find the females and clone/flower/clone. But now that i can restart any ideas on how to germinate and sex in the fastest, cheapest, and smallest profile. I'm thinking about a 4'x4' ebb and flow table. with 1 gal pots. Maybe even red solo cups with. But i'm also not sure what media to use, only ever used rockwool and hydroton. TLDR 1) How to germinate... Best way to find new genes? more info...

Quick question on my upcoming RDWC build.

Hydroponics / Aeroponics Quick question on my upcoming RDWC build. Hey guys been lurking around for awhile, I just moved to a new place and finally can start up my little home project. I used to run a straight DWC 5 gallon buckets and had a heck of a time changing out Res and training the girls. Anyway to eliminate that I’ve decided to go with an RDWC system. I plan on having 2 grow buckets with an epicenter. I’m going to use an old college mini fridge to create a chiller and wanted to use an under current with the waterfall effect to eliminate the need... Anyone ever use compressed rockwool granulate? | Rollitup

Anyone ever use compressed rockwool granulate? | Rollitup Just wondering if anyone has used compressed rockwool granulate? Does it fluff up when you add water like compressed coco does? 45lbs of rockwool would go a long way I’d think.  https://www.paradigmgardens.com/roc...nt-granulate-45-lbs-3-5-cu-ft-compressed.html

DWC with Foam Rafts in 5 gallon buckets? | Rollitup

DWC with Foam Rafts in 5 gallon buckets? | Rollitup I know some large scale commercial agriculture ops use DWC on big styro rafts, has anyone tried this on a smaller scale wih cannabis? I have an idea for doing it using 5 gallon buckets, but I am interested in hearing anyone’s experience with this method.

I plan on having 2 grow buckets with an epicenter. I’m going to use an old college mini fridge to create a chiller and wanted to use an under current with the waterfall effect to eliminate the need for air stones.  Now do I run my water pump from my epicenter/res, to my chiller, then T it off and run it to the top of both of my grow buckets to create my DO in the buckets through waterfalls. Or do I just waterfall my epicenter? And create my return line from a filter tube in my main pvc line?

Complete Low Cost Fertilizer: Bokashi?

Hello, I am trying to create an effective low cost fertilizer. for my DWC bucket. I would like to know what do you think about these. What about Bokashi Liquid? Should these contains enough NPK and minerals besides the bacteria? I tried at the beginning with vermicompost but I saw that is not enough. I don't understand... Shouldn't the vermicompost contain all the nutrients from foodscraps? That is why I am trying with Bokashi. I believe this should contains many nutrients right? I mean... Beginner with DWC hydro system

Okay so I’m fairly new to this I’ve done a lot of research but I know I’m still far from perfection, I have a 10 Gallon deep water culture hydro set up with only 2 plants, one is doing great but I see some leaves have a little yellow at the tips but most don’t, my ph is around 5.5ish I don’t have an exact read just the color chart and the LED lights are about 10 inches away and the top leaves aren’t discolored so I know it’s not light, also the hydro kit I bought (I know buying a kit was a... netcup/hydroton to coco transplanting advice.

Sup guys, long story short after some difficulties i finally got my bubble cloner to produce good results, i use rapid rooters when i take clones and when i see roots start to pop i put them in a 3 inch netcup with hydroton and place in the bubble cloner but my flowering tent is setup using coco/perlite, my initial plan was simply to slightly bury the netcup into the coco but ive heard this can cause issues in some cases due to the difference in localized aeration between the two medias. i... netcup/hydroton to coco transplanting advice. from Hydroponics / Aeroponics Read more How to fix this hydroponic problem
